Looking for helpful ways to get over my ex wife. Hard with kids?

Trying to move on with my life and start fresh. It's hard when I have to see my ex wife everyday because we have kids. What are some helpful ways to get by.

• As long as the divorce is final, the only thing you two should have to converse about is the children. Make sure that when you see each other, this is the only topic you stick to. Try not to fight, especially around them. Eventually it will become easier, and you can start asking "How was your day?" or more general questions like that. Just try to keep anything personal out of the conversations for now.
• my partner left me and our 2 yr old last year i have to see him when he sees the child.its very hard when one of you is hurting and still has feelings and also anger inside you from them treating you like a stranger in the doctors surgery.
  you can never have a clean break when you have kids.until the kids are older.but apparantly time is the healer.

I don't know who filed for the divorce, but apparently you still lover your Wife, if you have to say your question on "Yahoo Answers"! Do you think, the mother of your kids, does a great job? Did you ever tell her, that she did a great job as a Mother, when you were married! Instead of trying to get by, this could be a opportunity, for you and her to bring "Healing" to your Marriage! Did you ever tell, her that her input, of how she is raising the kids matter and that she is a good parent! The main thing, is that you show her respect, around the kids, and that will help the kids respect her! Try to remain positive, like you look nice today! Great to see you! Try your best to be kind and loving to your Ex-Wife, you never know, what could happen between you two!
